I know the rule in quilting is to press to the dark, but I tend to prioritize having the seams lay as flat as possible. Too much bulk is frustrating!Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18108473300135852433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7336736425796784445.post-31807287807226070792017-01-23T15:39:19.148-08:002017-01-23T15:39:19.148-08:00Thank you.. Sometimes you need to move the blocks around to get a pleasing layout, but that's pretty easy to do before you start sewing rows together! I would probably mix up your charm pack to start with, since they are usually sold with all one color together. Happy sewing!Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18108473300135852433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7336736425796784445.post-31095212484506204562017-01-23T06:43:45.211-08:002017-01-23T06:43:45.211-08:00I have a question about a different quilt you did....I have a question about a different quilt you did. the Mosaic with acreage charm pack. I'm not sure how to assemble the blocks with the pieces. Do you do a dark and alight in each square and you sew? or is it just as you start the top of the charm pack and go through it? thank you DonnaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14096442988514105897noreply@blogger.com
